About sandwich forager
My name is Nathalie and I am Sandwich Forager.
I started my career as an administrative assistant in a Kent based college, and decided a change in career was needed when I no longer felt I was making a difference. I started dog walking for a living and, being out in nature, I started to wonder what the plants around me were. I took my first foraging course, followed by a second... then a third!
It didn't take long before I was hooked. Within 6 months of learning my first few plants I was asked to administrate a foraging Facebook group. From there, my knowledge expanded twofold, and I now admin a variety of groups from medicinal foraging to permaculture and self-sufficiency.
It felt, soon after, natural to start spreading my knowledge of wild plants to others and therefore I decided it was time to start up foraging courses.
Cooking has always been a personal love of mine, and from a young age I have wanted to work with food. As I aged, my decisions and career paths have led me to wanting to share my wild food recipes and the knowledge I have accumulated with as many people as I can.
